Movements and Moments in Spring was organized and curated by Gloria Aziza Lawyer to celebrate the 53rd anniversary of this historical association and International Women’s History Month.

The National Conference of Artists (NCA) is the oldest African-American art association dedicated to supporting, promoting, and protecting all that generates from the art and cultural experiences of African Americans and people of African descent.  It was founded on March 28-29, 1959 at the University of Atlanta during the 18th annual art exhibition.
