First Fridays: Prince vs. Michael Jackson Edition

The Schomburg Center is proud to present a special Prince vs. Michael Jackson Edition edition of First Friday, our popular monthly social gathering. In celebration of the Schomburg’s 90-year milestone, this event will pay tribute to the two musical icons who have paved the way for pop culture and inspired African American children across the globe.

So, are you a Michael Jackson or a Prince? Show us whose style you favor by donning one of their legendary looks at what is sure to be a packed First Friday. Suggested dress code is Harlem chic!

For all free events, we generally overbook to ensure a full house. All registered seats are released 15 to 30 minutes before start time, so we recommend that you arrive early.
