PAN! Our Music Odyssey
A docudrama of the people behind the steelband movement. In Trinidad & Tobago, underpriviledged urban gangs created a new musical instrument crafted from oil drums in 1939 and perfected it by the 1950s. Since then, steelbands have mushroomed in every corner of the planet, and over 100 musicians come to Trinidad each year to compete in the greatest Pan event—the Panorama.
