Summer Arts Institute MS Vocal Music students

For the 12th year, the Library for the Performing Arts worked with the Department of Education's Summer Arts Institute on programs designed to introduce or facilitate the students to research in their field.  The series kicked off with the visit of 54 Middle  School Vocal students, with teacher and interns.  With the help of Bob Kosovsky (Music Division) and Vanessa Lee, of  the Song Index Desk staff, we showed the students how to locate art, opera, Broadway and popular songs in LPA, the on-line catalog and the Song Index.
