Everyday Archives: Building Your Personal Photography Archives
Join us for our debut community archives program, “Everyday Archives,” a series of workshops with the public where Schomburg community members can process their personal and family papers, documents, manuscripts, photographs, etc.

Join us for an afternoon workshop led by Thomas Allen Harris and Donald Perry of Digital Family Diaspora who will provide tips to help you create a narrative using your own personal photo archive! Schomburg reference librarians Megan R. Williams and Alexsandra M. Mitchell will also be on hand to provide you with the tools to process your family’s photos for posterity!

First come, first seated
For free events, we generally overbook to ensure a full house. All registered seats are released 15 to 30 minutes before start time, so we recommend that you arrive early.

Please note that holding seats in the Langston Hughes Auditorium is strictly prohibited and there is no food or drinks allowed anywhere in the Schomburg Center.
