The Children’s Center is open for nearly full service—including general use and seating, unlimited browsing, and computer access—at the completely transformed Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library (SNFL).

From storytime to homework help, the Children’s Center features an array of programs and services to help kids and their families develop a lifelong love of reading and learning, including:

The New York Public Library is expanding service and opening additional floors at its completely transformed central circulating library, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library (SNFL). On June 1, 2021, the lower level through the fifth floor opened for limited browsing and by-appointment computer use, including the all-new Children's Center and Teen Center—giving New Yorkers their first look at most spaces and amenities of their new central circulating library. Learn more about the newly renovated Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library (SNFL).
