Burroughs, Claude Pélieu, Carl Weissner, Jeff Nuttall, and Ed Sanders (staple-bound, fold-out brochure, mimeographed, and with photographs and photographic collages ; 2. “La marchandise ou la vie,” comprising 5 items: the first, a single sheet folded vertically and horizontally into 8 panels, printed in columns, recto and verso, with essay by Jean-Jacques Lebel attacking consumerism as the enemy of social and economic justice, and of art, illustrated with decouppée and advertisement photographs from the Paris Metro and buses; the second through the fifth comprising single sheets printed on one side only, folded accordion-style into 8 panels, with a single forward symbol (>) at the lower right corner of the front panel of the first accordion-folded item, two symbols for the second, etc., each containing collage and decoupée photographs of graffiti-enhanced advertisements from the Paris metro and buses, satirizing sexual mores, consumerism, and bourgeois life, and promoting anarchist revolution ; 3. “Ligne noir,” a staple-bound brochure printed in dark blue, with stylized depiction of male genitalia on front wrapper, and containing poetry, a pair of thesis-antithesis essays, a manifesto, and cut-up texts, by ; 4. “Petit livre peau-rouge, a staple-bound pamphlet brochure with red wrapper, containing an essay on Native American cultures as written by someone under the influence of hallucinogens, illustrated with drawings by José Sanchez (b. 1938), a Venezuelan artist; 5. Unmentioned in chemise table of contents: “Le crepuscule des enculés” [the evening (i.e., demise) of the buggered], ending with the statement, “You are already forgotten” and signed “By an autonomous group,” printed in red on one side of a single sheet, folded vertically.
