Almanac with illustrated song texts (tunes indicated by titles of airs) from plays produced 1780-1781 at the Théâtre de l'ambigu comique, Paris (a company of child actors founded and directed by N.-M. Audinot with J.-F. Arnould): Le Sérail à l'encan (published as Le Serrail à l'encan, 1783), attributed to J.-F. Sedaine de Sarcy (cf. Soleinne: Bibliothèque dramatique, III, 225), Audinot, Arnould or M.-J. Sedaine (cf. Barbier, IV, 474); Le Prince noir et blanc (published 1782), attributed to Audinot and Arnould by Soleinne.

(conjugate leaf blank); "Almanach d'agenda, année commune 1786" on 2 conjugate double-width folded leaves of light blue paper; and folded sheet of plates "à retombe" (metamorphoses) with text (4 figs. on recto and 8 half-figs. on verso, cut and folded to form 2 double-width folded leaves, each with 2 flaps at top and bottom, producing 16 possible images). Issued in case of stiff blue-green paper with title: Ambigu comique.
