Summary

1. A documentary filmed during the writing, composing and rehearsal of "Akhnaten," a new work by a composer who is winning a growing audience despite his avant-garde associations. The film provides a "behind the scenes" look at the creation of a contemporary opera, while following the progress of two very different productions in Germany and Texas. Also included are portions of Einstein on the beach, Satygraha and Music with changing parts.
