Summary
  1. A television program of highlights from Nelson Mandela's visit to New York City shortly after he was released from prison by the South African government. There are numerous film clips of Mandela speaking: at Riverside Church, a rally at 125th St., Yankee Stadium, and at the U.N. Scenes of the ticker tape parade and of Gov. Cuomo and Mayor Dinkins speaking as well as comments by people on the street are also included.
