Views of parks, squares and cemeteries in San Francisco: primarily Woodward's Gardens, but including South Park, Portsmouth Square or Kearney Street Plaza, including views of homes, a horse drawn trolley, a cable car and carriages. Views in Woodward's Gardens include a lake, lawns, gardens, fountains, picnic tables and sculpture; the conservatory, including interior; the office, a music hall, a "mosque", a summer house in the style of an Islamic palace and a band stand; a view of Chinese men visiting the seal pond; a view of mounted men wearing armour participating in a "tournament"; children in a boat on a pond. Includes on view each of Lone Mountain cemetery and the Jewish cemetery. Some duplication.
