Views of Brockton (formerly North Bridgewater), Massachusetts: general and street views showing homes, buildings, churches, a corn field; Main Street, Center Street; a street with view showing sign giving distances to Middleboro and Bridgewater; iron bridge; the railroad station, man with dog in foreground; mother and children in yard of house, house with a picket fence; Whitman school house; Porter church; children in front of school; men building a stone wall; men laying pipe; a small building on the edge of a lake, (part of water distribution system?); an unidentified industrial building; building failure: floor cave in revealing machinery below; decorations for a centennial celebration, arch reading "1778 Welcome 1878" near building decorated with banner; a decorated wagon with women riding in it, banner on side reads "followers of Betsy Baker preparing and braiding domestic straw," in front of building with bunting; aftermath of a train wreck; studio portraits of two family groups. Some views duplicated.
