Summary
  1. Interior and exterior portraits of artists, writers, musicians, poets, arts patron and arts administrators and their families taken in Chicago, New York, New Jersey and Paris, France, ca. 1904-1917. Other prints consist of copy photographs and original photographs, ca. 1917-1921, some with accompanying tearsheets, of illustrations of various products for advertisements in magazines and newspapers. Tearsheets include advertisements from The Saturday Evening Post, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, and Ladies Home Journal, among others. Most of the original advertising photographs with tearsheets are assembled in a contemporaneous scrapbook.
