Panel discussion with Arthur Mitchell, Frederic Franklin, Lisa Attles and moderator Francis Mason. The final in a series of New York City Ballet Guild seminars. Mitchell discusses his career, working with Balanchine, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and some choices he made as a black dancer. Franklin recalls Balanchine's earlier story ballets and choreography for musical theater. Mitchell and Attles recount Dance Theatre of Harlem's trip to South Africa.
