- Emily Coleman, music and dance editor of Newsweek magazine, and Anatole Chujoy, editor of Dance news and the Dance encyclopedia, discuss the purpose of the Capezio award, the process of selecting recipients; past recipients Barbara Karinska, Zachary Solov, Lincoln Kirstein and Louis Horst, and the 1962 recipient, Donald McKayle. Music from the opening sequence of Donald McKayle's Rainbow round my shoulder is played. Mr. McKayle discusses his dance training and career as a performer and choreographer.
