- SUMMARY: Richard Philp, writer and managing editor of Dance magazine, discusses his recently published book, "Danseur," which focuses on the male ballet dancer; the image of the male dancer. Recordings of Duo concertant by Igor Stravinsky and Le corsair pas de deux by Riccardo Drigo are played in their entirety. These two pas de deux are known for the demanding choreography of the male variations.
