Social dance satire in which five women and three men are depicted. The women wear feathered or floral headdresses, and high-waisted dresses trimmed with lace and ruffles. Two men wear high neckcloths which cover their ears, and coats with narrow tails. The third man is in military attire. The couple at center perform a vigorous Spanish dance. The woman holds castanets. Her partner dances with his index fingers touching his thumbs.
