Haydée, Richard Cragun, and balletmaster/assistant director Alan Beale talk about the company, past and present. Guest choreographers Maurice Béjart and Jiri Kylián discuss the works they have staged for the company. Dance excerpts include Cranko's ballets The taming of the shrew, Eugene Onegin, Initials R.B.M.E., and Romeo and Juliet; Béjart's Isadora and Gaité Parisienne; Kylián's Forgotten Land; and Uwe Scholz's Variation-1. Among the featured dancers are Haydée, Cragun, Birgit Keil, Egon Madsen, Reid Anderson, and others.
