Summary
Documentary on the creation of With us, choreographed by Judith Jamison in Philadelphia to celebrate the first University of the Arts in the U.S. Performance excerpts are interspersed with views of Jamison selecting dancers at auditions, rehearsing, conferring with artistic collaborators, and preparing for opening night. In addition, the experiences of three young dancers, Hector Vega, April Wanstall, and Alice Stock, are highlighted.
