Summary
  1. Mino Nicholas, director of the American Dance Repertory Company, discusses the qualities of Doris Humphrey's choreography that have inspired him to reconstruct her works, among them Lament for Ignacio Sánchez Mejías and Duo-drama. With the help of Eleanor King and Nona Schurman, he has made an intensive study of Humphrey's technique. Mahoney contributes a description of her revival of The Shakers at Northern Illinois University.
