- Summary
- Informal talk given to teenaged ballet students by Eugene Loring, who tells anecdotes about his life and career. His reminiscences include: auditioning for George Balanchine and dancing with the American Ballet, particularly in the opera Aida and in Orpheus and Eurydice; dancing in Mikhail Fokin's ballets at Lewisohn Stadium; touring with Lincoln Kirstein's Ballet Caravan; choreographing dances for films such as Deep in my heart and Silk stockings; and working with Cyd Charisse, Audrey Hepburn, and Ann Miller.
