- Summary
- Former Harvest Moon Ball champions Sugar Sullivan and Al Minns and tap dancer Jane Goldberg discuss the popularity of the lindy hop and tap dancing in the 1920s and 30s. Minns also describes the big apple, and compares the terms lindy hop and jitterbug, which he considers basically the same dance. He also talks about the cakewalk and its relation to the lindy hop and tap dancing. He and Sullivan reminisce about their experiences as competitors in the Harvest Moon Ball. Goldberg discusses tap dancing of the past and her own experiences. The guests present brief demonstrations throughout the program.
