- Summary
- Interviewed upon the publication of her book Page by Page, Ruth Page reminisces about her childhood; dancing with Anna Pavlova, Adolph Bolm, and Diaghilev's Ballets Russes; and her marriage to Tom Fisher. She discusses the artistic climate of Chicago, recalling her experiences with the Ravinia Opera, Lyric Opera, and the WPA, and her collaborations with Bentley Stone on Frankie and Johnny, and Carmen. She also discusses the financial difficulties of running a dance company and some past solutions. She offers some advice to aspiring dancers and their parents, and outlines some future projects.
