Farrell discusses how she and Balanchine developed the off-balance movements in the variation of the Lady of the Silver Moon, and recalls how she danced in bare feet, on pointe, and in turned-in positions in Don Quixote. She notes some ballets in which she contributed to the choreography, among them Tzigane and Vienna waltzes, which she compares to La valse.
