CONTENTS: Cassette 1 (approx. 61 min.): Video: Don Quixote (si.): Act II, Don Quixote's vision of Dulcinea, and Act III, duet of the Lady of the Silver Moon and the White Knight, and variation of the Lady. From a private source. -- Conversation between Farrell and Daniel. Farrell discusses how she and Balanchine developed the off-balance movements in the variation of the Lady of the Silver Moon, and recalls how she danced in bare feet, on pointe, and in turned-in positions in Don Quixote. She notes some ballets in which she contributed to the choreography, among them Tzigane and Vienna waltzes, which she compares to La valse. She talks about performing as a learning experience and relates how she prepares mentally for a performance. -- Question and answer period. -- Cassette 2 (approx. 42 min.).
