Summary
Jerel Hilding, now on the dance faculty at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, recalls how he became a dancer in his native New Orleans. He discusses his experiences with the Joffrey II company and later the Joffrey Ballet, and reminisces about Twyla Tharp's ballets Deuce coupe and Cacklin' hen. In conclusion, he talks about his new interest in choreography at the University of Kansas.
