- Summary
- Kaleidoscope of music, dancing, food, and street celebrations in New Orleans, including a funeral procession accompanied by a jazz band, St. Patrick's Day festivities, and a demonstration of how to eat crawfish. The second part of the film highlights the activities of the Wild Tchoupitoulas, a carnival society of working-class blacks, as they prepare to participate in Mardi Gras in their traditional guise of Native Americans.
