Summary
Four traditional Korean dances, the first three based on shamanic ritual and exorcism, the fourth a court dance. "Kut choom," a term coined by Myung-soo Kim, combines the words "kut," an ancient Korean ceremonial form incorporating drama, dance, music, and shamanic ritual, and "choom," or dance.
