1. 46 full-length studio portrait photographs (halftones) by Krausz, each accompanied by a page of text. Subjects are men, women and children commonly seen on the streets of Chicago, photographed with objects of their occupations; include workmen, newspaper boys, street vendors, street musicians, representatives of various ethnic groups and social classes, etc. In all, 23 texts are by Krausz; others (some in verse) are by Le Roy Armstrong, Charles Eugene Banks, Edgar C.
