Summary
  1. Documentary on the choreographic approaches and working processes of Ballet Rambert's three principal choreographers, Christopher Bruce, Richard Alston, and Robert North. The program begins with scenes of company classes in ballet and modern dance, respectively taught by North and Alston, who discuss what each technique contributes to the dancers' skills. Each of the three choreographers is represented by one of his works, which is seen in studio rehearsal and performance excerpts, accompanied by his comments on artistic intentions, inspiration, imagery, and collaboration with other artists.
