  1. Conclusion of the class taught by Ernest "Brownie" Brown and Charles "Cookie" Cook (ca. 5 min.), which began on *MGZIC 9-5751.
  2. Talk by Peg Leg Bates (ca. 15 min.), who opens by reciting a poem about his "peg," and describes how he used dancing to surmount prejudices against the physically handicapped. He demonstrates various steps, and is joined in dancing the shim sham by Cook and Brown. They are joined by Bunny Briggs, Albert Gibson, Jane Goldberg, and other dancers for a group dance to "I got rhythm." Peg Leg then recalls his long association with Ed Sullivan, whom he first knew as host of the Harvest Moon Ball. This session continues on *MGZIC 9-5748.
