- An Act passed by the Maryland Assembly April 21, 1649; confirmed by the Lord Proprietary, Cecelius, baron Baltimore, Aug. 26, 1650. cf. Archives of Maryland, v. 1, 1883, p. 244. The Act was probably published in broadside form soon after it was confirmed, but the old spelling and abbreviations quoted in the Archives of Maryland are not found in the present issues.
