- Lee Edward Stern opens the interview with an announcement of The student prince, to be performed by the New York City Opera at the New York State Theater August 29-September 7, 1980. Donald Saddler briefly discusses his approach as a choreographer in different mediums; his concern with keeping older works vibrant; working with director Jack Hofsiss; his own work as director for operettas and old musicals.
