2. Four interviews with director/playwright Reza Abdoh (1963-1995), conducted in Holland, Austria, and Los Angeles between 1991 and 1994. Also includes one interview with Bill Bushnell, Artistic Director of the Los Angeles Theatre Center, and one interview with Diane White, Producing Director of the Los Angeles Theatre Center, both concerning Reza Abdoh's play Minamata, and both taped in November 1989.
3. The first interview concerns the European tour of Reza Abdoh's play The law of remains, seen in brief rehearsal and performance excerpts. The second interview concerns the European tour of Reza Abdoh's play Quotations from a ruined city, seen briefly in performance. The fifth interview is conducted in Reza Abdoh's home. The sixth interview consists of audio track only, from the KCRW Los Angeles radio program The politics of culture, hosted by Richard Stayton, visually accompanied by nine successive photo images of Reza Abdoh; also participating in this discussion, which focuses on Reza Abdoh's play Bogeyman, are playwright John Steppling and radio personality Michael Silverblatt.
