1. [Lecture-demonstration] (ca. 49 min.) / recorded outdoors on the Inside/Out stage ; speaker, Charles Wright ; accompanist, Gary Sojkowski. Workshop participants perform an abridged version of a typical warm-up, and examples of movement exercises done in class. Bessie Schönberg appears in the audience.
2. [Showing] (ca. 53 min.) / recorded in the studio ; speaker, Bessie Schönberg. Schönberg begins by introducing Charles Wright and Gary Sojkowski, and describing their roles in the workshop. She explains the assignments behind the various modern dance studies in the showing, which were choreographed by workshop participants. Among the performers are eight dancers from Dance Theatre of Harlem.
3. [Showing] (ca. 20 min.) / recorded in the studio ; speaker, Bessie Schönberg. As in the preceding footage, Schönberg begins by introducing Charles Wright and Gary Sojkowski, and describing their roles in the workshop. The tape ends before the conclusion of the program.
