- [From wrapper:] "Spirals was choreographed in 1991 by Irene Dowd as a whole body warm-up for dancers. Spirals involves mobilization of all the joints and active exertion of all the muscles through their full length range from most elongated to most shortened. It provides practice in moving each part of the body through constantly changing relationships to each other part, as well as to gravity and three-dimensional space."
