Summary
  1. Using archival photographs, drawings and interviews with historians, Edison biographers and scholars, this documentary discusses Edison's invention of the incandescent electric light (the light bulb) and his subsequent move into industry and manufacturing with the formation of the Edison Electric Light Company (later, Edison General Electric Company). Edison's direct current (DC) vs. alternating current (AC) propaganda war with George Westinghouse and Nikola Tesla is also discussed at length.
