- Note
- Interview with Kenneth Archer conducted by Holly Brubach on January 20, 1989 at the Nicholas Roerich Museum in New York City. Recording seems to have been made for the audio soundtrack of a television program produced by WNET/New York and Danmarks Radio in association with Czechoslovak Television and BBC, La Sept, NOS Television, and telecast by WNET/13, New York, on the Great Performances: Dance in America series on November 24, 1989 (see related video-recording *MGZIC 9-2081). There are frequent pauses for technical reasons and extraneous remarks relating to technical matters. Due to their frequency, they are not separately indicated in the summary.
- The interviewee, Kenneth Archer, refers to "Nikolai Roerich", the anglicized version of Nikolaĭ Konstantinovich Rerikh. The summary below follows this convention.
