Description
  1. 1 videocassette (118 min.) : sd., col. PAL; 1/2 in. (VHS)
Summary
  1. This recording lacks the final ballet on the program (the Grand pas from Don Quixote) and production credits. For a commercially released version of this telecast, see: *MGZIA 4-743 An evening with the Bolshoi Ballet. The commercial version has been somewhat edited: it lacks the telecast's voiceover introductions to each ballet, as well as the excerpt from The nutcracker (the Dance of the Indian dolls [Arabian dance]) ; also, Chopin's Military polonaise is played under the opening credits rather than as the overture to Les sylphides, and the Black swan pas de deux has been edited to omit the ballerina's fouettés. It does, however, contain the Grand pas from Don Quixote, and production credits.
