- Summary
- Jerome Robbins, assisted by ballet master Bart Cook, directs a rehearsal of excerpts from The cage. Wendy Whelan, as the Novice, rehearses the pas de deux with Kipling Houston and then Brian Reeder as the Second Intruder. Patrick Hinson rehearses the role of the First Intruder with Whelan. There are numerous interruptions and repetitions. Robbins discusses and demonstrates choreography.
