Summary

1. Jerome Robbins, assisted by ballet master Victor Castelli, directs a rehearsal of excerpts from Dances at a gathering. There are many interruptions and repetitions. Robbins gives corrections and demonstrates choreography. A second set of dancers rehearse some pieces at the back of the studio; Lauren Hauser rehearses Darci Kistler's role, Helene Alexopoulos rehearses Stephanie Saland's role, Lindsay Fischer rehearses Jock Soto's role, and Ethan Steifel rehearses Damian Woetzel's role in Waltz, op. 42.
