Segment one: Live at five, aired Channel 4, June 20, 1988, 5:00 p.m. Pia Lindstrom interviews Joseph Papp about his involvement in the NAMES Project and the New York City display of the AIDS Memorial Quilt. Papp also discusses the impact of the deaths of the director/choreographers Michael Bennett and Bob Fosse on American theater.
