Summary

1. Jerome Robbins directs two rehearsals of a dance set to Charlie Rutlage. This piece was cut before the premiere of Ives, songs. The first rehearsal, which lasts approximately 15 minutes, includes only female dancers. Ballet masters Jean-Pierre Frohlich and Victor Castelli rehearse two male roles. The second rehearsal includes the full cast and a complete run-through of the piece. Robbins gives corrections and makes changes to the choreography.
