- Summary
- Lynn Simonson and Charles Wright, co-directors with Milton Myers of the jazz project, host this workshop performance, and Simonson speaks about the project. The first piece performed is an untitled study based on classroom exercises by Charles Wright. Echo, a duet choreographed by Cindy Katz, is performed by Katz and Karla Larson. Postmodern to modern madness, a satire on postmodern and modern choreography by Simonson and Wright, is performed by students and guest performers. At the end of the program, students present gifts to the jazz project teachers.
