Summary

1. This tape contains footage of outdoor performances on the day of the 1988 gala at Jacob's Pillow. Gayle Tufts performs two sets of songs (including her own songs and songs by others), accompanied by Nelson Sanchez on piano and [Lois DeLivia] on bass. Students from the Big Apple Circus school perform juggling and acrobatics. Mick Moloney, Robbie O'Connell and Jimmy Keane play a set of Irish music, and Jean Butler and John Jennings perform Irish step dancing. At the end of the tape, Liz Thompson presents an award to Anne Hawley in recognition of her ten years as executive director of the Massachusetts Council on the Arts.
