His diagnosis is bound to increase public concern about the disease now that is has struck someone so famous. Many performers are donating their time in efforts to raise funds to find a cure for AIDS. Joseph Papp has produced Larry Kramer's play about AIDS called The normal heart. Segment includes interview with Papp and performance excerpt.
