Summary

1. This tape records two showings of work from the One on one workshop at Jacob's Pillow. Director Carolyn Adams speaks about the workshop, in which students were individually coached in repertory pieces. The pieces performed include two solos created by students; a solo titled The survivor and an ensemble dance set to Fauré's Requiem, both choreographed by Colin Connor; the last movement of Esplanade and other excerpts from work by Paul Taylor. Pauline Koner speaks about coaching The survivor, and Ruth Andrien coaches students in falls from Esplanade. The students are identified by first names only. The program is repeated on another evening.
