Summary
  1. Performance of tap dancing to classical and jazz music. Prior to the performance, the 53rd Capezio Dance Award is presented to Savion Glover by Anthony Giacoio, president, Capezio Ballet Makers Dance Foundation. As the second half of the program begins, Savion Glover makes a speech of acknowledgments, introduces the musicians (each of whom plays a brief solo), and pays tribute to the late Gregory Hines.
