  1. This interview with John Cage and Merce Cunningham was recorded during a tour by the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, which gave two performances in Seoul. Questions and answers are translated from and into Korean. Cage and Cunningham discuss their experience in Korea; their views on avant-garde versus conventional dance and music; Cunningham's Events; their philosophies of music and dance and their sources of inspiration; the relationship between music and dance in the performances of the Cunningham company; how they met and began working together; their present activities; Nam June Paik's video artwork, and their collaboration with him on Good morning, Mr. Orwell; Cage's interest in traditional Korean music and Zen Buddhism; differences between oriental and occidental dance. The interview is interspersed with video clips of performances by the Cunningham company, and clips from Good morning, Mr. Orwell.

Nam June Paik created the project, and participants included Laurie Anderson, Robert Rauschenberg, John Cage, Merce Cunningham, Allen Ginsberg, and Peter Orlovsky.
