Summary
  1. Opening night performance of Richard Strauss' Salome, directed by Robert Wilson. Opera singers in costume perform a concert version of the opera from a platform, while non-singing actors mime the action on the stage below. Salome is portrayed by a principal actress and by three alter-egos, all portraying different aspects of her personality.
