Summary
  1. Fully staged production of the collaborative "jazz opera" Cosmopolitan greetings, videotaped before a live audience. Consists of the poetry of Allen Ginsberg set to jazz music, with each poem its own scene. Between each piece are interludes ("Knee plays") with classical music during which scenery and staging is set in full view of the audience. Music for the poems is provided by jazz musicians on stage, while the music for the interludes is played off stage by "Soloisten des Philharmonischen Staatsorchesters [Hamburg]" and the "Bigband des Norddeutschen Rundfunks."
